Fruitbat Fudge is a new gourmet confectionery and creative bakery project based in Stoke-on-Trent.
The project started in 2010, when Chef Babbit (our Cook-in-Chief and a lifelong sweet-tooth) decided to experiment with fudge making.
It seemed like some kind of strange magic spell – a wonderful kitchen alchemy of turning various everyday ingredients into rich, beautiful, delicious fudge which, in turn, made people happy when they tasted it.
Chef Babbit decided that this was something she wanted to do lots more of and so, after a lot of thinking and scribbling, Fruitbat Fudge was created. The project is named after Chef Babbit’s daughter, who also designed our fabulous logo!

At Fruitbat Fudge, we’re very proud of what we do and we want to share it with as many people as possible. This is why all our fudge recipes contain no artificial colours or flavours, are suitable for Vegetarians and Chef Babbit is constantly developing new recipes for Dairy-Free and Gluten-Free goodies. She is currently working on a fudge suitable for Diabetic diets.
