What’s your Creative Business?

by Gemma

Have you recently finished University and unsure about how to make a living in the arts or creative industries?

Do you want to use your skills to start your own business?

Do you have project you’d like to get started?

The Exchange is running an exclusive evening event with creative industries champion, Helga Henry, who can help you find the answers to those questions…

We are pleased to host Helga Henry on Tuesday 8 February 2011, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm (including Tea, Coffee & Biscuits)

Helga will run a short, tailored session that will motivate you to take your idea and turn it into a reality.  The trick is just to “get started” and Helga will work with you to find out what you need to do to take that first step (and possibly even to make it in the session itself).  Helga’s mission in life is to spot and develop creative talent, and to empower people to present that talent in a way that works for them.

She has a breadth of experience across the West Midlands and further afield of inspiring cultural and creative entrepreneurs to start, develop or grow their businesses. She has clear, practical advice and she makes it fun…if you don’t believe us – Gemma Thomas the project manager from SHOP and The Exchange took the Metapod Be Effective Course in 2008, as did Ben McManus (bITjAM, FOK and B Arts), as did many more creative entrepreneurs across the West Midlands.
